Michelle Symeonides
Throughout my career, I've done beading, enamel jewelry, pottery, metal fabrication, enamel jewelry, collage and textiles.
I studied Textile design and silk painting In France in the '90s using pure pigment dyes and silks to create kimono in the traditional Japanese style—pop art wall hangings, pillows and upholstery fabrics in more traditional styles. I challenge myself and switch 'flavors' when I design. I enjoy working in porcelain and stoneware, making vessels with various textures glazes and shapes. I love to work with color, pattern and, balance in my designs, finding my inspiration from nature to architecture.
